Last week I visited the “Lumix Festival For Young Photojournalism” in Hannover. It was just incredible what the students of the FH Hannover, together w their professor Mr. Nobel and some sponsors created there:

Not less than 60 series (1400 photographs or so) of young photographers (entries came from all over the world) where shown at the former “Expo” fair area. Of course, there where some not so interesting series, some low-quality digital stuff and boring topics, but in general, this festival is worth visiting it. There were also some nice lectures, for example from magnum photographer Thomas Hoepker.

My favourite series is “Disappearing Circus” from Rafal Milach, a young polish photographer who photographed retired circus artists.

See it here.
